So it's a ChatGPT wrapper with a text box that says "paste anything" and a Summarize button. I've mass-buried about thirty of these since 2023. The name is borrowed Reddit-subreddit energy, the entire landing page is one input field with zero social proof, no examples of output quality, and no reason to believe this beats cmd+C into any free chatbot. You're competing with a browser feature that already exists in Chrome and Edge. That said, the placeholder text actually hints at something broader than pure summarization, and if the output is genuinely faster and more opinionated than a generic LLM prompt, there could be a small wedge for people who want a dedicated quick-answer box without the overhead of opening a chat session. You'd need to show me a before/after on the landing page though.

Fun tiny app. Currently I think there's a bug: I can see other people's entries (maybe that's a feature?), but then I can also delete them. I think your main competition will be summarization features being built into browsers and websites unless you can find a way to differentiate yourself from them

"Get the gist. Skip the rest." is CLEAN and punchy — that headline does real work! The subtext "Paste anything or name a topic. Get a no-fluff summary in seconds" lands too. You've got the TONE right and the tool is instantly usable, which is rare. Love that the input box IS the landing page — zero friction to first action. BUT here's the BIGGEST problem: there is NOTHING below the fold. At all. The page is just... a dark void after the input box. No examples, no social proof, no "here's what a summary looks like." A skeptical visitor lands here, wonders "is this just ChatGPT?" and BOUNCES before they ever hit Summarize. Show them an output! Drop in a before/after — a paragraph of dense text next to the crispy 3-line summary your tool produces. Make the VALUE visible, not just described. The nav link "TL;DR EVERYTHING" is intriguing but does nothing to help conversion — consider making it a demo trigger or an example-loaded state instead of dead weight in the corner!
